Just wanted to post a few pictures of Parker having a blast at physical therapy this morning! We fit a lot of activities in an hour. . .
Parker rode a bike (a skill we picked up over the summer). Then he launched rockets (to practice his stomping skills). And he pushed a barrel (which is almost taller than him). He also played bowling and practiced standing on an incline (pictures not included).
These sessions are always a reminder that one should never take for granted even the "smallest" of skills. For instance, we are teaching Parker to stomp his feet. Whether he wants to stomp his feet to throw a tantrum or dance to some music, this kid is working hard to master a basic movement that comes "naturally" to so many of his peers.
Starting next week, Parker is going to have even more fun during physical therapy because we are adding weekly sessions in the water. I hope Miss L. is looking forward to getting splashed in the face continuously for an hour.
